Lucic has officially pooped his pants.

It's only a 1 yr deal but holy hell I've been waiting for this move for EVAR!!!

Sabres sign a Titan to a one year 600K deal. Have fun dealing with that guy Mr. Lucic

My buddy is a huge Rangers fan and said he seen him play when the Rangers actually put him in the lineup and said he's really slow. I highly doubt he even makes the Sabres. Looks more like a Rochester signing.

He's 270lbs, kinda hard to get all that moving quickly. I wasn't expecting much and I'm sure he'll never see time with the big club.

You seriously think he'll see time in a sabres sweater? He has one goal and five points in his four-year career

Maybe during Boston games so he can fuck shit up with Lucic.

From Puck Daddy:

"John Scott is not what you'd call a "good" hockey player; in fact, the most common description of his NHL prowess is as a 'liability.' But when you're the Buffalo Sabres, John Scott can help, because you're a team that had its toughness challenged by Milan Lucic last season when he freight-trained Ryan Miller; and it was a challenge they failed to overcome, with the psychological scarring from the school bully lingering through the season."

That about sums up John Scott, and I'm absolutely OK with that.

According to CapGeek, this is a one-way deal, so I'm sure we'll be seeing him in a few games with the big club this season.

Wow just looked at a bunch of his fights... All I gotta say is WOW!! This guy can fight, I read somewhere that he's a perfect 24-0 in his NHL fighting career. Lucic has nothing on this guy speaking on fighting terms of course

In the past several seasons when has Lindy EVER used anyone like this for their stated purpose????? Yeah I know, we haven't had much of an enforcer but still. I don't see Lindy putting him on the ice to "take care of business." He may see the line up once, maybe twice but will be handcuffed by Lindy.

Teams don't sign players on day one of free agency for their AHL teams.

He'll play. Probably 20-ish games where the beef is needed.

"Go out and run'em, boys."

I expect to see John Scott serve that purpose.

Peters won that last fight with Emery, right?

That was also the last time we had a "fighter". Oh, and also the last time we had a good team.
