No way, unless it was for someone ridiculously good who was a number one center. Roy has one of the best contracts out there.

Yeah, Roy's contract gives great value. You'd have to win somewhere else, like making a trade lopsided in talent. One side wins talent, one wins cap. Something like that. And it would have to include a center.

Ya that is true.... But anyone think he will resign with the Sabres after next season? Or will he opt for the BIG contract? If it were still Golisano behind the bench then I'd say he'd be gone after next season but with TP in town I say he'd take less just to get that illusive cup ring....

considering he's on ir and his production could increase when he is cleared to play again, i think we should trade roy for connolly...
