Starting last year, they're on a four year cycle to get as many first/second round picks as humanly possible. So that's, at least, four years of being really bad. They currently have fifteen first or second round picks slated in the next four years. That is along of kids who are not proven and will most likely wash out. I would say they'll be bad even longer than four years because you have to build around top prospects with veterans to make a team great. Like he said not about wins or losses. Ok, I may have been harsh saying that. I just don't see "big picture" Black talks about. I foresee the Sabres becoming the next Oilers in a few years. Getting top prospects because of being bad and not getting any better. So, the reason why I say "development team for the NHL" because our coach is know for developing young players and those young players will ship out as soon as they can. So other teams will gobble these players up once their entry level contacts expire. |

Well I mean, I don't think Dubnyk is BAD bad... But he's not good. Especially this year, and especially with the Oilers' defense. I'd package Myers/Miller for a forward or two, but unfortunately Miller has them on his NTL. |

Unless Vanek would be willing to re-sign with EDM after this season, there's not really any reason for EDM to send anything our way for him. |

Flyers should go for a rebuild but are prolonging the inevitable. I feel sorry for them. At least we already made the step for a rebuild. They are just turning their own wheels with shit. |
