Maybe they were thinking of Pommers, who cut a tendon and may not be ready for the start of the season.

I was thinking Roy. I know he recovered but I thought he came back a bit early in the playoffs and was simply wondering if he's 100%

Yeah, he did come back too early, I think. But then he has months to recover fully and get into better shape. I'm not worried about Roy being ready.

According to the man himself on twitter...he's working out, skating, playing golf etc. every day.
No mention of any sort of recovery, injury, rehab or the like.
