http://www.ocrra.org/recycling_contest.asp

The Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency is holding a "Best Blue Bin on the Block" contest in which the apparently dig through random recycling bins and give out prizes based on who's recycling best. Some CNYers are pretty pissed about this saying that they don't want the government going through their recyclables.

Thoughts?

Guess not. The prizes are pretty lame too. Well, except for the laptops anyways.

Prizes include Byrne Dairy gift cards, Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse gift cards, a Double Tree Hotel brunch certificate, a dinner gift certificate to Rachel's at the Sheraton Syracuse University Hotel and eco-friendly SONY laptops.
