thinking that the isles might want young guys, i'd wonder if they'd consider a trade consisting of paetsch +Persson + 4th, for marty and a 3rd. Free up some defensive position, for some young guys, brings in a quality back up. and the isles pick will hopefully be higher up in the draft than ours. would love to make a trade to get taylor hall, but i've accepted the fact that we probably won't be anywhere near him. Josh Harding is another option, but he will want to share the load with Miller, and i don't know if that is in Ruffs system. Harding would cost more i would think.

This isn't the end for Lalime, any more than it might have been the end for him a week ago. We all wish we had a better back-up, but it's only a groin strain. He'll probably be unavailable for a week or two at the most. With our next few weeks of games always on Wed-Fri-Sat, Miller could probably handle it for a while anyway.

Enroth needs to be called up for emergency purposes only...injury or blowout.
