Ennis should never play another game with Portland.

I hope Gerbe will make me feel the same way during his time up here.

I missed the game..... did Ennis look good? and why not Mancari over Gerbe, at least for a bit of size up front?

Ennis was spectacular. He made some nice plays on defense, and his passing, vision, and ability to move the puck, freeze defensemen, and remain unpredictable was something we haven't seen since Briere was here.

If he can be like this consistently, we're in for a real treat.

SWEET!!! i like the way that sounds... now Get Patty K, Vanek, and Timmy C healthy... sit Staff and let Ennis run baby run... but seeing as he was probably an 'emergency' call up, he'll have to go back down as soon as the guy he was called up for is healthy....

I think I'd rather have Mancari over Gerbe taking into consideration how good he looked during his last call up. Also, Mancari would be some added size to help on the forecheck. Hopefully Gerbe makes me forget all these thoughts and plays hard and contributes.

Don't forget, last chance he had here he was impressive. He only left due to injury.

I think he'll feed off Ennis's energy and really dig into the stretch run.

Time will tell.

Gerbe might be pissed that ennis got the call over him this time. hopefully he uses that energy to score.

This doesn't bother me because there are a lot of good things about his temperament as well.

Every team needs at least one to keep on their toes and into the game.

Ennis now has 3 points in 2 games.

That is a pretty damn good PPG average.

He would have 41 goals and 82 assists if you projected his totals out for an entire year.

Slesh needs better sources because Lindy said in his post game that Vanek's injury wasn't too serious and he shouldn't miss a lot of time.

I hope he's not just telling us more bull shit. If their injuries aren't too serious, i'm ok with sitting them and giving them extra rest and allowing Ennis and Gerbe play. Gain extra experience in case they are called upon for the playoffs. Major bummer to Mark Mancari. lol

We must be the shortest team in the league now, no? :D
